How does dayz boosterz alter my types.xml?

Item Boosting is a fantastic way to enrich your game by increasing the availability of specific items. It modifies two key values: 'nominal' and 'min'. Here's what that means for your server:

Nominal: This is the total number of a specific item that can be present on the map at any one time. When you apply a Boost Factor, this nominal value gets multiplied. For instance, if an item's nominal value is 5 and you choose a Boost Factor of 2, up to 10 of these items can now be present on the map simultaneously.

Min: This is the minimum amount of the item that will always spawn on the map. Boosting increases this minimum count, ensuring that even at its lowest, the number of these items on the map is higher than before. For example, if the min value of an item is 2, and you apply a Boost Factor of 3, the new minimum count of this item on the map would be increased, reflecting the new boosted conditions.

Example: If an item has a nominal value of 6 and a min value of 1, and you set a Boost Factor of 3, up to 18 of these items can now be present on the map, with a higher minimum count than before. This ensures a richer presence of the boosted items, enhancing your gameplay experience.

Through these adjustments, Item Boosting effectively increases the frequency and availability of chosen items, adding more excitement and variety to your game. You can use Notepad++ to compare the differences so you can see first hand how quickly, effiently and simple types boosting is.
